Focus and Scope

Kalijaga Journal of Communication serves publication on communication studies. It covers library and fieldwork studies with various perspectives of communication: political, cultural, economic, semiotic, hermeneutic, and social dimensions. The journal welcomes as well academic articles on mass media and new media.

Peer Review Process

Kalijaga Journal of Communication applies double blind review in processing the articles. The editor makes the final decision of publication, amendment, or rejection of articles, based mainly upon reviewers’ reports and recommendation.

 

Publication Frequency

Kalijaga Journal of Communication is published twice a year in two issues of one volume: the first issue in June and the second in December

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Publication Fee

There is no any fee applied for publishing an article in Kalijaga Journal of Communication. All processes of article publication are free of charge; the author will not be charged for submission, processing, and publication of an article.
