JIES is a scientific journal that accepts publication papers of both literary and field results, which are included in the scope of Islamic Economics studies. The focus of the study raised is a focus on Islamic Economics, Business and Management

Peer Review Process

Every text sent is read by the editorial staff. Manuscripts that are evaluated by editors that do not fit the journal criteria are rejected immediately without external review. Each manuscript is reviewed independently by at least two reviewers. The editors then make a decision for publication based on the reviewer's recommendations of several possibilities: Accept, accept with revision, Send for review, or reject.

The Editor in Chief has the right to decide which manuscripts to submit to the journal for publication.


Publication Frequency

The Journal of Islamic Economic Scholar is consistently published six times a year (starting from 2019) or the journal will be published 6 figures (editions) per volume.


Peer Review Process

The manuscripts reviewed are the original texts that have been selected by the Executive Editor and compiled according to the guidelines for writing a Student Journal. For some manuscripts, the review process can be carried out by the reviewer (the article will be sent to the Reviewer to get the Review Process). Consideration in determining reviewers and their number, and the decision whether or not a text is published, is determined by the executive editor based on reviewers' judgment and / or input. The review process will consider new things, objectives, methods, scientific impacts, conclusions, and references.


Publication Schedule

The journal will be published six times a year (February, April, Juny, August, October, Desember)


Open Acces Policy

This journal provides direct open access to content on principles that make research freely available for greater public support for global knowledge exchange


Publication Ethics

JIES: Journal of Islamic Economic Scholar is a peer-reviewed scholar journal, published six times a year by the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business of the State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This student journal is available online as an open access source. This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing articles in this journal, including authors, editor-in-chiefs, executive editors, reviewers, and publishers.


Article Processing Charges

JIES: Journal of Islamic Economic Scholar do not charge fees for publishing articles published in this journal.


Screening For Plagiarism

JIES: Journal of Islamic Economic Scholar will not tolerate any plagiarism. Therefore, Authors must check their articles through the plagiarism checker application, for example, used by the Turnitin application. If an article is indicated as plagiary, it will be rejected and will not be reviewed.
