Abstract

Among Muslims, there is no denying the existence of Islamic law with the character of universality existence. This is supported by the passages of the Qur’an al-Anbiya> ‘ (21) 107. Universality enforceability of Islamic law necessitates submission of all followers of Islam on the teachings of Islam, wherever and whenever they are in, and also necessitates the existence of universal values embodied in the laws of branches that may differ from one place and other places. That’s why Muslims in Islamic countries and countries relative Muslim majority found no obstacles in relation to the application of Islamic law in their daily lives. Reality in the Islamic law is different if grown among the Muslims who are a minority in a secular country, namely the state with the government system separating religion as a matter private. In this paper will be discussed how a position and application of Islamic family law in the country with a minority Muslim population, especially those in England.
