Brawls, free sex and narcotics on students is evidence of school failure in building the religious character of students. One of the educational institutions that have succeeded in building the religious character of students is pesantren. This success was proven by a little reporting of deviant behaviour among santri. By using descriptive qualitative methods, researchers want to reveal the profile of public schools that not only excellent academic achievement but are also able to produce students who have a religious culture so as to avoid various deviant behaviours. The religious culture is formed through the internalization of the values of the pesantren, namely to incorporate Islamic values through habituation manifested in school programs like a pesantren. The implication of this study is to internalize the value of pesantren in schools that can shape the religious character of students. Students can avoid bad behaviour.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menelaah masalah dekadensi moral yang banyak dialami pelajar di sekolah. Tawuran, sex bebas, dan narkotika dikalangan pelajar merupakan wujud nyata kegagalan sekolah dalam membangun karakter religius siswa. Salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang dianggap berhasil membangun karakter religius siswa adalah pesantren. Keberhasilan tersebut terbukti dengan minimnya pemberitaan perilaku menyimpang dikalangan santri. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, peneliti hendak mengungkap profil sekolah umum yang tidak hanya unggul dalam prestasi akademik namun juga mampu mencetak siswa yang memiliki budaya religius sehingga terhindar dari berbagai perilaku menyimpang. Budaya religius tersebut terbentuk melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai kepesantrenan yakni menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam melalui pembiasaan yang diwujudkan dalam program-program sekolah layaknya sebuah pesantren. This is a qualitative research. The research data were obtained from Aqeedah Akhlaq teacher in implementing PAI curriculum. Data analysis technique used is classifying, combining, interpreting, and concluding. The results of research on the development of the PAI curriculum: 1) Focusing on the development potential, needs, and interests of students and their environment, 2) Diverse and integrated, 3) Responsiveness to the development of science, technology, and art, 4) Relevant to the needs of life, 5) Comprehensive and continuous, 6) Lifelong learning, 7) Balance between national interests and regional interests. Implementation at MTs Nurul Ummah Yogyakarta, namely: 1) Organizing Workshops or socialization about making lesson plans, 2) Using textbooks from the Ministry of Religion and also pesantren (The Yellow Book), 3) Learning Aqeedah Akhlaq focuses on three aspects: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor,&nbsp; 4) Using the nahwu amtsilati learning method from Jepara and curriculum integration from Purworejo.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Penelitian bertujuan untuk: mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi kurikulum PAI pada mata pelajaran Aqidah Akhlaq. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pencatatan dari guru Aqidah Akhlaq dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum PAI<em>. </em>Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu mengklasifikasikan, menggabungkan, menafsirkan, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian tentang pengembangan kurikulum PAI: 1) Berpusat pada potensi perkembangan, kebutuhan, dan kepentingan peserta didik dan lingkungannya, 2) Beragam dan terpadu, 3) Tanggap terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni, 4) Relevan dengan kebutuhan kehidupan, 5) Menyeluruh dan berkesinambungan, 6) Belajar sepanjang hayat, 7) Seimbang antara kepentingan nasional dan kepentingan daerah. This study is important to do using the literature approach to descriptive conceptual research to see the position of man as a creature of God specifically created by God and for certain purposes. Humans according to mysticism are creatures of God that are specially created ("copy") by God and for the purpose of His tajalli (tanazul) and because humans have the potential of the lut because of certain temptations he can glide to a low level, if he wants to return to his fitrah, then he should make a certain effort (mujahadah and riyadlah) in order to climb (taraqi) again "unite" with Him throughthe fourstages of <em>tajalli</em>. That <em>tajalli</em>, both in the process of tanazul and taraqqi, should be understood figuratively and <em>metaphorically (majazi)</em>. This situation is due to the existence of love and longing for Allah SWT, so that what is seen and felt is He alone, like someone who is hit by romance with his lover, who is loved and loved, always imagined in his eyes and heart. Kajian ini penting dilakukan dengan&nbsp; menggunakan pendekatan <em>literature research</em>-konseptual deskriptif untuk melihat kedudukan manusia sebagai makhluk Tuhan yang dicipta secara khusus oleh Tuhan dan untuk tujuan tertentu. Manusia menurut tasawuf adalah makhluk Tuhan yang dicipta secara khusus (<em>“copi”</em>) oleh Tuhan dan untuk tujuan <em>tajalli</em>-Nya (<em>tanazul</em>) dan karena manusia mempunyai potensi <em>lahut </em>yang karena berbagai godaan tertentu dia bisa meluncur ke tingkat yang rendah, apabila dia ingin kembali ke fitrahnya, maka hendaknya melakukan upaya tertentu (<em>mujahadah</em> dan <em>riyadlah</em>) agar bisa mendaki (<em>taraqi</em>) kembali “bersatu” dengan-Nya melalui empat tahap <em>tajalli. </em>Bahwa <em>tajalli</em>, baik dalam proses <em>tanazul</em> dan <em>taraqqi</em> itu, hendaknya dipahami secara <em>figuratif</em> dan <em>metoforis</em>(<em>majazi</em>). This paper seeks to convey views about managerial efforts in curriculum development for leading programs in the context of Muhammadiyah Elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative field research approach at SD Muhammadiyah Kleco. The results of the study show: The implementation of the management of Leading Program Development at the Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Kleco, Kotagede, Yogyakarta is not much different from the management of PAI curriculum in other schools which includes planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum activities. The results achieved from the implementation of the Featured Program at SD Muhammadiyah Kleco Kotagede are the increasing knowledge and abilities of students, especially in the aspects of the Qur'an. In addition, the implementation of the Featured Program also had a positive impact on student achievement in the religious field and besides that it was also a branding force for the Muhammadiyah Kleco Elementary School in Yogyakarta to compete in the education market especially in the city of Yogyakarta.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Krisis dalam dimensi kualitas sumber daya manusia maupun krisis dalam bidang identitas dan moralitas manusia Indonesia merupakan problematika pendidikan yang meresahkan di Indonesia. Tulisan ini berupaya untuk menyampaikan pandangan tentang upaya manajerial pengembangan kurikulum untuk program-program unggulan dalam konteks sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif field research di SD Muhammadiyah Kleco. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Implementasi manajemen Pengembangan Program Unggulan di SD Muhammadiyah Kleco Kotagede Yogyakarta tidak jauh berbeda dengan manajemen kurikulum PAI di sekolah lain yang meliputi kegiatan perencanaan, penggorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kurikulum. Hasil yang dicapai dari pelaksanaan Program Unggulan di SD Muhammadiyah Kleco Kotagede adalah semakin bertambahnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan siswa terutama pada aspek Al Qur’an. Religion can be a field of inner conditioning as well as an object of propaganda by certain parties to destroy a civilization. So this article examines what the Islamic Religious Education curriculum looks like in an effort to strengthen religious tolerance. This article was prepared using the library research method. The results showed that the objectives and content of the curriculum in strengthening the attitude of religious tolerance have accommodated the needs and conditions of today's age. The content of the Religious Education curriculum is not dominated by the content of beliefs and worship, but also the content of human relationships such as religious tolerance. Curriculum 2016 Religious Education is considered to have been present to overcome the problem of religious intolerance. So it is not only guarded by citizenship education subjects only. This curriculum analysis is done by examining from two points of view, First, the rationalization of the 2016 curriculum syllabus in religious education. Second, core competencies and material distribution maps are taught as an embodiment of the formation of religious tolerance.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Sikap tolerasi beragama pada hari ini merupakan permasalahan yang sangat seksi dengan daya kejut sensitifitas yang tinggi di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang majemuk. Agama bisa menjadi ladang penyejuk batin sekaligus objek propaganda pihak-pihak tertentu untuk menghacurkan suatu peradaban. Maka artikel ini mengkaji seperti apa kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam upaya penguatan sikap toleransi beragama. Artikel ini disusun menggunakan metode <em>library research</em>. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuan dan konten kurikulum dalam penguatan sikap toleransi agama sudah mengakomodasi kebutuhan dan kondisi zaman hari ini. Konten kurikulum Pendidikan Agama tidak didomonasi oleh konten keyakinan dan ibadah semata akan tetapi juga konten hubungan sesama manusia seperti toleransi agama. Kurikulum 2016 Pendidikan Agama dinilai sudah hadir untuk mengatasi persoalan intoleransi agama. Sehingga tidak hanya dikawal oleh mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan semata.
