The background of this research is the limited access to mental health services in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas, and the need for a holistic approach. The research objectives include analyzing the profile of counseling problems, identifying the Quranic verses and herbs used, describing the integration process, evaluating the therapy outcomes, and developing a conceptual framework for Islamic psychotherapy counseling. A qualitative descriptive method with a case study and phenomenological approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that Tabib Hasan primarily addresses physical complaints triggered by stress, using specific Quranic verses and various herbs. The therapy process includes holistic assessment and spiritual counseling sessions, with clients reporting improved sleep quality and calmness. Therapy success is measured by the client's awareness of their improved condition. However, not all students have strong confidence in their potential and career decisions. This study aims to examine the role of Guidance and Counseling teachers in building the confidence of grade XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Kudus related to career choices. The data collection technique used a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the Guidance and Counseling teacher acts as a motivator, mediator, and facilitator in recognizing students' potential, overcoming psychological barriers, and helping to make career selection decisions in accordance with interests and talents. Counseling services are provided individually and in groups with humanistic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, which are effective in increasing students' self-confidence. Support from the school environment and parental involvement also strengthened the career mentoring process. The conclusion of this study confirms that the role of Guidance and Counseling teachers is very strategic in shaping self-confidence which is a key factor in students' readiness to face the future.</em></p> <p><strong>Keywords: </strong><em>guidance and counseling, self-confidence, career choice.</em></p> Diana Indah Indraswati Arina Fithriyana Copyright (c) 2025 Hisbah: Jurnal Bimbingan Konseling dan Dakwah Islam 2025-06-30 2025-06-30 22 1 57 79 10.14421/hisbah.2025.221-04 DAKWAH TERAUPETIK DI SOSIAL MEDIA SEBAGAI UPAYA PREVENTIF TERHADAP COPYCAT SUICIDE PADA GEN Z https://ejournal.uin-suka.ac.id/dakwah/hisbah/article/view/3210 <p><em>The phenomenon of copycat suicide—suicidal behavior triggered by exposure to information or news about similar cases—has become increasingly concerning, particularly among Generation Z, who are highly active on digital platforms. This vulnerability is influenced by psychological, social, and cultural factors, including communication patterns prevalent in social media. Therefore, a da’wah approach that is not only informative but also therapeutic and relevant to the characteristics of this generation is essential. This study aims to examine preventive efforts to reduce the occurrence of copycat suicide among Generation Z. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach. The findings reveal that delivering therapeutic da’wah to Generation Z requires consideration of their psychological traits, which favor simple communication, concise messages, and visual content. The da’wah material may include the interpretation of Qur’anic verses containing motivational messages, the understanding that meditation can be practiced through prayer (shalat), and the introduction of relaxation techniques through dhikr and supplication (du’a). This research aims to explore the effectiveness of Islamic counseling guidance as a solution in overcoming juvenile delinquency, focusing on the integration of spiritual and moral values. Using a qualitative research method with a literature-based descriptive-interpretative approach, data were analyzed from various relevant literature sources. The results show that Islamic counseling guidance is able to help adolescents in knowing themselves, understanding their potential, and developing faith and piety. This process not only resolves the problem of deviant behavior, but also fosters higher moral awareness. The values of the Qur'an and Hadith serve as a foundation in providing holistic solutions, which are relevant to preventing negative behaviors such as brawls, drug abuse, and promiscuity. The conclusion of the study confirms that the Islamic counseling guidance approach is effective in shaping the character of responsible and noble adolescents, so that it can contribute to reducing the level of juvenile delinquency. Excessive internet use has a negative impact on the mental health of young people. Digital literacy is a necessary competency for internet users in this digital era. Young people are the backbone of the nation. One youth organization that contributes to national development at the village level is Karang Taruna. Karang Taruna Birawa in Dusun Sawangan is one such youth organization that has made significant contributions to both the local community and the Sawangan Village government.The aim of this study is to analyze the role of digital literacy in minimizing the negative impact of </em><em>internet and smartphone addiction on the mental health of the youth in Birawa Sawangan. The findings indicate that digital literacy has the potential to act as a moderating variable that weakens the influence of internet addiction on mental health. Although digital literacy still has a significantly positive effect on mental health, it does not weaken the influence of smartphone addiction on mental health.
