Global Review of Islamic Economics and Business is an international journal which is published by Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga in cooperation with Consortium for Islamic Economics. This journal is designed to provide a forum for researchers/academicians and also practitioners who are interested in knowledge and in discussing ideas, issues, and challenges in the field of Islamic economics and business, finance, banking, and accounting. In addition, this journal can contribute to solve the problem of the ummah, gap between theory and practice, etc.


The scope of this journal will include but is not limited to Islamic economics, Islamic business, Islamic banking, Islamic capital markets, Islamic wealth management, issues on Shariah implementation/practices of Islamic banking, zakat and awqaf, takaful, Islamic corporate finance, Shariah-compliant risk management, Islamic derivatives, issues of Shariah supervisory boards, Islamic business ethics, Islamic accounting, and Islamic auditing. In addition to research papers, case studies, and book reviews are also welcomed.


SINTA


Since August 3, 2020, starting for the issue of Vol. 7 No. 2 (2019), GRIEB journal has been ACCREDITATED with "B" or "2nd" grade (SINTA 2) by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Agency for Research and Innovation of The Republic of Indonesia as an achievement for the peer-reviewed journal that has excellent quality in management and publication. The recognition was published in Ministerial Decree No. 148/M/KPT/2020 and it is valid until 2025.


Previously, at April 4, 2019, starting for the issue of Vol. 5 No. 1 (2017), GRIEB journal has been ACCREDITATED with "D" or "4th" grade (SINTA 4) by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of The Republic of Indonesia. The recognition was published in Director Decree No. 10/E/KPT/2019.

Journal History - EkBis: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis was firstly published in 2017, with 2 issues a year, in June and December. Six articles are included in each issue of the publication. Before 2019, articles published on EkBis are still in Bahasa Indonesia. From 2019 onward, the editorial board decided to publish all articles in English. EkBis has also considered changing the layout and refreshing the cover for the 2022 edition onward. It is neccessary in order to modernize the typography and create a consistent look and feel across our range of publications. In January 2022, EkBis received a notification letter from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the journal's accreditation status. We are pleased to inform you that starting from the 2019 edition to the upcoming 2024, EkBis has been accredited with Sinta 4, based on SK No: 164/E/KPT/2021 date 27 Dec 2021. With this recognition, EkBis is currently holding more than 18 acknowledgments from various indexing providers around the world. In order to better improve our process, EkBis decided to migrate its online journal system from OJS 2 to OJS 3 in July 2022. The website look, user interface, and dashboard system are also modernized. 

International Journal of Islamic Finance (IJIF) is open access, peer-reviewed journal whose objective is to publish original research papers related to Islamic Finance. The studies highlight Islamic Finance issues like Complexity of Shariah Compliance, Lack of Standardization, Limited Product Diversity, Risk Management Challenges, Costs and Profitability, Innovation and Technology, Global Regulatory Framework, Lack of Awareness, Ethical Concerns, Integration with Conventional Finance. Despite these challenges, Islamic finance has been steadily growing and evolving. Efforts are being made to address these issues and promote greater awareness and adoption of Islamic financial principles in both Muslim-majority and non-Muslim-majority countries.

Journal of Business Management and Islamic Banking (JBMIB) is an international journal which is published by Department of Islamic Banking, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga. This journal is designed to provide a forum for researchers/academicians and also practitioners who are interested in knowledge and in discussing ideas, issues, and challenges in the field of Islamic economics and business, Islamic finance, Islamic banking, management human resources and marketing management. In addition, this journal can contribute to solve the problem of the ummah, gap between theory and practice, etc.


JBMIB established in 2022 by students and lecturers specializing in Islamic Banking at Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. At present, JBMIB has 15 members, comprising 7 students and 8 lecturers. The journal published its inaugural issue on August 31, 2022, and continues to release three journal editions annually. In 2023, JBMIB undertook template development for its second publication, incorporating improvements such as citation format enhancements and the addition of Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License logo.


In 2024, we aspire to achieve accreditation for our journal on SINTA. We hope that, through the contributions and collaboration of authors and the editorial team at JBMIB, our aspirations can be realized.
