[This article is an observation of the movement against sexual violence on campus. The mass movement began to emerge in a campaign with the hashtag #KitaAgni in 2018. Public interruption of the power of campus institutions was also manifested by the #NamaBaikKampus campaign. These campaigns succeeded in sparking reports of sexual violence on various campuses in Indonesia. This wave of resistance describes a collective activism which is later referred to in this article as “Butterfly Politics”. Seven years ago, this term was coined by Catharine A. MacKinnon to describe a small movement that created a big change. This is what guides the author to examine how the Butterfly Politics strategy is carried out in Indonesia in guarding cases of sexual violence on campus. Observations and examinations will be divided into several problems: First, the author will explain the difficulties of solving sexual violence on campus. Second, these difficulties in practice can be solved through feminist activism and critical journalism by garnering support through the mass media. The author will also reconsider the Butterfly Politics with full media control capable of providing protection for victims. In the end, this article describes the successes of collective work against sexual violence on campus. However, several notes must be noted, namely the speed of information in the network society does not necessarily fulfill the sense of justice for victims.]
