Musawa edisi Vol. 11 No. 2, Juli-Desember 2012 bertemakan tentang Rancangan UU Keadilan dan Kesetaraan Gender (RUU KKG). Kehadiran jurnal edisi ini adalah untuk menambahkan sumbangan secara akademik keberadaan RUU KKG. RUU tersebut masih menimbulkan pro kontra di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Bagi yang menolak mengatakan bahwa RUU KKG diaggap akan merusak sendi sendi agama dan akan mendalimi ummat/agama tertentu karena akan mengurangi ruang gerak ketaatan beragama. Lebih lanjut bagi yang menolak, menyatakan bahwa gender sebagai produk Barat, dan secara substantif bertentangan dengan Islam. Namun, bagi yang pro menganggap RUU ini akan efektif untuk mengurangi pelecehan dan praktek diskriminasi terutama terhadap perempuan di Indonesia yang semakin meningkat dan marak.Downloads
