IDENTIFIKASI WASTE PADA PROSES PRODUKSI WAJAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN LEAN SIX SIGMA (Studi Kasus di WL Alumunium Yogyakarta

Abstract

Lean production system is an ongoing effort to eliminate waste and increase value added products (goods / services) in order to provide value to customers based on customer value. WL Alumunium is a Small Medium Entreprise (SME) in manufacturing, with product such as pan, kettle and soblok. There are no standard time/output standard for process activity and waste analysis for the process in this SME. This research aim to proposed recommendation based on waste identification using Lean Manufacturing. This study uses the stages of DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) which aims to be more structured and systematic. Define Stages using Value Stream Mapping, Measure with Process Activity Mapping (PAM), Analyze is Ishikawa Diagrams and Improve using Proposed Value Stream Mapping. Based on the processing and analysis of data for waste defects, it has a fairly large percentage of 9.52%. For waiting has a percentage of 28.57%. While for unnecessary inventory has a percentage of waste of 21.43%. Excessive transportation has a percentage of 2.38%, over production of 19.05%. For inappropriate processing has a percentage of 7.14% and unnecessary motion of 11.90%. The increase in the value of Process Cycle Efficiency was 16.71%..
