About the Journal
The Journal of Educational Community Service (JECS) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. JECS advances scholarship that bridges educational theory and grounded community practice, publishing original research, case studies, reflective practice articles, and practice notes on community engagement in education. The journal positions community service as scholarship requiring theoretical grounding, methodological rigor, and demonstrable community impact and welcomes contributions in English and Indonesian from authors worldwide. No article processing charges apply.
