Kesejahteraan Subjektif Pada Penderita Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II Berdasarkan Tingkat Pendidikan

Kesejahteraan subjektif adalah evaluasi kognitif dan afektif hidup seseorang termasuk reaksi emosional terhadap berbagai peristiwa yang dialami. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi kesejahteraan subjektif yaitu tingkat pendidikan individu. Tingkat pendidikan yang rendah akan mempersulit individu atau masyarakat menerima dan mengerti informasi kesehatan yang disampaikan, sedangkan dengan tingkat pendidikan yang lebih tinggi akan mempermudah individu untuk menyerap informasi khususnya dalam hal kesehatan dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kesejahteraan subjektif pada penderita Diabetes Mellitus (DM) tipe II berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 82 orang dengan karakteristik: pasien dengan diagnosa Diabetes Mellitus tipe II, berusia 21-60 tahun dan sedang berobat jalan di rumah sakit, klinik atau tempat praktek dokter di Banda Aceh. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Skala Kesejahteraan Subjektif 29 aitem. Analisis data menggunakan teknik one way ANOVA dengan hasil F yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 1,573 dengan harga p = 0,203 (p>0,203). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kesejahteraan subjektif pada penderita (DM) tipe II berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan, artinya tinggi atau rendahnya tingkat pendidikan penderita DM tipe II tidak berkontribusi pada kesejahteraan subjektifnya. Kata kunci: Kesejahteraan subjektif, Diabetes Mellitus tipe II, tingkat pendidikan. ABSTRACT Subjective well-being is an affective life and cognitive evaluation in the person. Include emotional reaction against several events occurs. One of factors that influence subjective wellbeing is individual education level. The low educational level will compound the society or individual to accept and understand about informations health. While, higher education level will make easy the person to catch informations health. This research is written to know what the subjective well-being differentiation in Diabetes Mellitus type II patient, based on their education level. Subject of this research is come to 82 peoples and the characteristics are: patient with Diabetes Mellitus diagnosis, aged 21-60 years old, and being treated in the hospital, clinic, or etc. in Banda Aceh.Method of collecting data that is used in this research is 29 aitems Subjective well-being scale. And then, the data analysisuse one way ANOVA technique. The result of data analysis those are F as 1,573 with p= 0,203 (p>0,203). The result shows that there is no subjective well-being differentiation in Diabetes Mellitus type II patient based on their education level. It means that, higher or lower education level of Diabetes Mellitus type II is not contribution subjective well-being.
