Abstract

 

 In working couples, the wife’s responsibility looks heavier because she has several roles. Women who have had children face role tension which can eventually lead to marital dissatisfaction. Factors such as social support from husband, family, and children; also work-family balance are important. The length of marriages is one of determinants to the length of adaptation that carried out marital satisfaction. The sampling technique was purposive random sampling. The were working women aged 20-50 years, had a working husband. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis method. The result, there is a significant relationship between social support, work-family balance, and length of marriage with marital satisfaction with a sig value 0.000 and F value 39.970. The major hypothesis in this study is acceptable. Social support and work-family balance have a positive and significant relationship with marital satisfaction; while length of marriage has no relationship with marital satisfaction (has a negative relationship direction). Marital satisfaction can be explained by social support and work-family balance by 36%, both of these factors have the same contribution 18%. 

 

 

 Pada pada pasangan bekerja, tanggung jawab istri lebih berat karena memiliki beberapa peran. Faktor seperti dukungan sosial dan keseimbangan kerja-keluarga menjadi penting. Lama pernikahan merupakan salah satu penentu lamanya adaptasi yang dilakukan untuk mencapai kepuasan pernikahan. Penelitian ini mengungkap hubungan dukungan sosial, keseimbangan kerja-keluarga, dan lama pernikahan dengan kepuasan pernikahan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, subjek wanita bekerja (20-50 tahun), telah menikah, dan memiliki suami bekerja. Metode analisis regresi linear berganda yang digunakan mendapatkan hasil hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial, keseimbangan kerja-keluarga, dan lama pernikahan dengan kepuasan pernikahan dengan sig. 0,000 dan nilai F 39,970. Hipotesis mayor dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima. Dukungan sosial dengan kepuasan pernikahan r 0,447 dan sig. 0,000<0,05, keseimbangan kerja-keluarga r 0,454 dan sig. 0,000<0,05 keduanya memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan kepuasan pernikahan, sedangkan lama pernikahan tidak memiliki hubungan dengan kepuasan pernikahan, r 0,142 dan sig. 0,863>0,05) dengan arah hubungan negatif. Kontribusi variabel dukungan sosial dan keseimbangan kerja-keluarga sebesar 36%.
