Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to study the influence of Javanese tradition music therapy (gamelan) on positive face expression of autistic child. The research subject were three children of autism. Method of this research used observation with rating scale. The research subject was selected by purposive sampling. The data analysis used Friedman-test. The result of analysis was chi square (X2)= 6 (p<0,05). The result showed that there was significant influence Javanese tradition music therapy (gamelan) on positive face expression of autistic child. Keywords: positive face expression, Javanese tradition music therapy (gamelan), autism ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi musik gamelan terhadap ekspresi wajah positif pada anak autis. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak autis berjumlah 3 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dengan bentuk pencatatan rating scale. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling. Analisis menggunakan uji-Friedman Komputasi data dengan menggunakan SPSS 19,0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis di atas, hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian yaitu ada pengaruh terapi musik gamelan yang signifikan terhadap ekspresi wajah positif pada anak autis, dengan hasil analisis uji-Friedman menunjukkan chi square (X2)= 6 Dengan asymp. Sig/asymptotic significance adalah p<0.05 (2-tailed). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh terapi musik gamelan yang signifikan terhadap ekspresi wajah positif pada anak autis.
