Ketahanan Keluarga Dalam Bingkai Spiritualitas Tarekat: Studi Fenomenologi Pada Pasangan Pengamal Tarekat
Main Article Content
Abstract
Spirituality is an important factor contributing to family resilience. One form of spiritual practice that continues to be evolve in contemporary society is the Tarekat, a community that represents the esoteric dimension of Islam, namely Sufism. This study aims to describe family resilience among couples practicing tarekat. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The informants were 4 couples selected using purposive and snowball sampling techniques based on predetermined criteria. Data collection utilized semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis. The findings identified 5 main themes: the transcendence of marital meaning based on sufistic values within the couple's relationship; dzikir and the mursyid's counsel as religious coping; the mursyid and tarekat community as sources of support; the subjugation of the ego and effective dialogical communication; and psychological and financial resilience through an attitude of legowo (sincere acceptance). These findings indicate the transformation of ego-consciousness into divine consciousness within the family. Spiritual practices, the mursyid’s guidance, and adherence to sufistic values serve as the primary drivers in reconstructing the couple's relationship, subjugating the personal ego, managing conflict and communication, and building psychological and financial resilience amidst life's challenges to shape family resilience among tarekat practitioners.
