[ Egypt is a country that has a low level of gender equality. Efforts such as the awarding of the Egyptian Gender Equity Seal (EGES) reflect initiatives aimed at reducing gender disparities in the country. This Certificate-based policy functions as a concrete action in proving the achievement of the seal of gender equality, which is given directly by the World Bank, the National Council of Women (NCW), and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to two private sectors in Egypt. These two company sectors were identified as the sectors with the greatest empowerment of women. The principle of Gender Equality is included in the fifth concept of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely "Gender Equality," this role is considered a crucial element in the sustainable development agenda. This allows women's participation in efforts to improve a country's economy. The EGES certificate is an initiative to develop gender equality, which is realized in the form of a seal as concrete evidence of reducing gender disparities. From an Islamic perspective, gender equality is identified as respect for women. Individuals in the human community have defined roles, including women who carry out responsibilities such as giving birth, breastfeeding, facing menstruation, and so on, while men have the role of head of the family, functioning as the main witness at marriage, providing support for their family, and have other responsibilities.]
