Rancangan Teknologi Tepat Guna Penyaringan Air Sederhana Skala Rumah Tangga

Akses terhadap air bersih merupakan hak dasar bagi setiap manusia. Seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk dunia, kebutuhan akan air bersih akan semakin meningkat sementara polusi dari berbagai sumber mengurangi jumlah persediaan air. Untuk itu, diperlukan solusi praktis yang mampu mendukung kebutuhan air bersih dalam berbagai keadaan. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat ditempuh adalah merancang teknologi penjernihan air yang tepat guna. Penelitian ini merancang teknologi penjernihan air yang sederhana dan terjangkau bagi masyarakat dalam skala rumah tangga. Desain yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sebagai teknologi tepat guna dalam situasi darurat dengan biaya yang terjangkau.
[Access to clean water is a basic right for every human being. As the global population increases, the need for clean water will increase while pollution from various sources reduces the amount of water supply. For this reason, practical solutions are needed that are able to support the need for clean water in various circumstances. One approach that can be taken is to design an appropriate technology for purifying water. This research designs a water purification technology that is simple and affordable for people on a household scale. The design developed meets the criteria as appropriate technology in emergency scenarios at an affordable cost.]
