PANAS PELA PENDIDIKAN DI SEKOLAH: DESEGREGASI ISLAM DAN KRISTEN MELALUI KEARIFAN LOKAL

Abstract
Permasalahan terbesar yang belum terselesaikan saat resolusi konflik Ambon tercapai pada 12 Februari 2002 adalah adanya segregasi antara Islam dan Kristen. Keadaan ini berpotensi menimbulkan terjadinya konflik serupa di masa depan. Adanya polarisasi akibat politik identitas di masa pemilihan presiden Republik Indonesia tahun 2014 dan 2019 serta beredarnya fake news bernuansa rasisme di media sosial memperparah keadaan. Panas pela pendidikan dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk desegregasi penganut agama Islam dan Kristen melalui pendidikan yang dikemas dengan budaya lokal. Pelaksanaan panas pela pendidikan antara SMPN 9 Kota Ambon yang 99% warga sekolahnya beragama Kristen/Katolik dengan SMPN 4 Salahutu Liang Kabupaten Maluku Tengah yang 100 % warga sekolahnya beragama Islam. Panas pela pendidikan memiliki arti mempererat kembali hubungan persaudaraan yang sebelumnya telah dibangun oleh para leluhur dengan cara mengadakan upacara secara berkala dan melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah. Kedua sekolah tersebut mengadakan panas pela pendidikan pada 29 Januari 2018 di SMPN 9 Kota Ambon. Tanpa adanya segregasi peserta didik kedua sekolah dapat menampilkan berbagai atraksi budaya seperti tari-tarian, lagu, dan puisi, pembuatan film perdamaian yang semuanya mengarah dan mengajak para siswa satu sama lain untuk hidup saling menyayangi walaupun berbeda agama, suku, dan golongan.
