About the Journal

Focus and Scope

JISKA (Jurnal Informatika Sunan Kalijaga) receives original research articles from lecturers, researchers, students, and practitioners from the field of Informatics/Computer Science/Information Technology. More specifically, JISKa accepts articles with the following themes:

Article Processing Charges (APC)

JISKa does not charge publication fees. JISKa is free and open access where the writers and readers of the articles will not be charged at all. All costs are borned by the Dept. of Informatics Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta as a form of a contribution to the advancement of science.

Journal History

JISKA (JURNAL INFORMATIKA SUNAN KALIJAGA)

JISKa was initiated by Mr. Bambang Sugiantoro as the editor in chief in 2016 and published the first issue in May 2016 with seven (7) articles. In 2017, the editor in chief was appointed to Mr. Sumarsono. In 2018, JISKa obtained Sinta 4 accreditation from 2018 until 2023. Since 2020, Mr. M. Taufiq Nuruzzaman has been appointed as an editor in chief until now.
