MAKNA IDEASIONAL DALAM PIDATO KENEGARAAN PRESIDEN JOKO WIDODO: KAJIAN LINGUISTIK FUNGSIONAL SISTEMIK

This study examines ideational meaning through the transitivity system, focusing on the process, participants, and circumstances in President Joko Widodo's State Address at the 2023 MPR RI Annual Session. Halliday's concept, Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) is used with mixed research methods. The research data consists of words, clauses, and sentences from official speech transcripts obtained from YouTube videos, specifically the element of transitivity. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of sorting, interpretation, and conclusion. The results show that transitivity is manifested in three forms: process, participants, and circumstances. Mental processes have the highest frequency at 37%, indicating an emphasis on feelings, thoughts, and awareness to highlight Indonesia's potential opportunities. Two categories of participants, namely Participant I (President Joko Widodo) at 66% and Participant II (government institutions present at the session) at 34%. These results contribute theoretically by strengthening the relevance of the SFL framework in political discourse, and practically, there is a mental process of the president constructing meaning and shaping public awareness through his speech. In addition, the element of circumstances as a cause dominates with a percentage of 40%, reflecting the emphasis on the common goal of achieving Indonesia Emas 2045.
