Peningkatan Literasi Keuangan bagi Siswa dalam Mengelola Uang Saku di SD Negeri 020 Ridan Permai
Keywords:
Financial Literacy, Students, Pocket MoneyAbstract
Financial literacy is a crucial competency that needs to be instilled from an early age to foster rational and responsible economic behavior. Low levels of financial literacy among elementary school students lead to a tendency toward consumerism and a lack of savings habits. This community service activity aims to improve the financial literacy of students at SD Negeri 020 Ridan Permai through an interactive and practical educational approach. The methods used included outreach, simulations, and hands-on practice, including daily financial record-keeping and savings habits. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in students' understanding of basic financial concepts, their ability to differentiate between needs and wants, and behavioral changes in managing pocket money more wisely. This program makes a significant contribution to developing students' financial character from an early age and has the potential for sustainable implementation in elementary education settings.
