Pemanfaatan Sampah Plastik UMKM sebagai Media Kolase Kreatif untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Lingkungan pada Anak Usia Dini di RA Ibnu Jarir

Abstract

The problem of plastic waste is becoming an increasingly pressing environmental issue, including at the local level, generated by the activities of MSMEs. Furthermore, environmental education for early childhood is still not optimal in instilling awareness of the importance of environmental protection. This community service activity aims to utilize MSME plastic waste as a creative collage medium to increase environmental awareness among early childhood students at RA Ibnu Jarir. The methods used included outreach, demonstrations, hands-on collage-making practice, and evaluation based on changes in children's attitudes and behaviors. The results of the activity showed that children were able to identify types of plastic waste, showed interest in creative activities, and began to understand the importance of maintaining a clean environment. This program has a positive impact on environmental and creativity-based learning and has the potential to be developed as a model for environmental education in early childhood education.
