Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is one-half spaced on A4-paper size, margin: 1.7 cm (top, bottom, left, right), uses a 12-point font.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Papers submitted for publication must conform to the following guidelines:

  • Papers should discuss the themes of community service activities based on Islamic values, written either in Indonesia or English;
  • Papers must be typed in one-half spaced on A4-paper size, margin: 1.7 cm (top, bottom, left, right), uses a 12-point font;
  • Papers’ length is about 6,000 words or five pages;
  • All submission must include a 150-200 word abstract, written in English and Indonesia;
  • Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with his/her/their institution and complete address;
  • All submission should be in Microsoft Word document file format;
  • Bibliographical reference must be noted in bodynote and bibliography according to APA style.
Manuscript structure: Title, Author(s), Affiliation, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Result and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments (if needed), and References.
