INTACT Journal: Integrative Studies in Islam, Science, and Society is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing integrative and interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of Islamic intellectual traditions, scientific inquiry, and societal transformation. The journal provides an academic platform for the publication of original research and conceptual studies that critically engage with contemporary issues in Islam, science, education, psychology, and public life.
Published by the Centre for Integrative–Interconnected Transformative Studies (CIINTRA), UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Indonesia, INTACT Journal seeks to foster rigorous scholarly dialogue and to promote innovative frameworks of knowledge capable of addressing complex local, national, and global challenges. The journal aspires to contribute to the advancement of academic excellence, social responsibility, and civilization through meaningful engagement between religion, science, and society.

INTACT Journal focuses on integrative, interconnected, and transformative studies that explore the dynamic relationship between Islam, science, and society. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to INTACT Journal undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, relevance, and methodological soundness. Each submission is first evaluated by the editorial team to assess its suitability with the journal’s focus, scope, and submission requirements.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are reviewed through a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and academic competence in the relevant field. The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript is made by the editorial board based on reviewers’ recommendations and editorial judgment.
Open Access Policy
INTACT Journal provides immediate open access to all of its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All published articles are freely accessible online without subscription, payment, or other access restrictions.
The journal is committed to promoting the widest possible dissemination of scholarly work in order to enhance academic visibility, intellectual exchange, and social impact.

All manuscripts submitted to INTACT Journal are subject to plagiarism screening as part of the editorial review process. History of the Journal
