Author Guidelines

Mukaddimah : Jurnal Studi Islam, published twice in every volume, is a peer-reviewed journal, specializes in Islamic studies.

Papers submitted for publication must conform to the following guidelines:

  1. The article has not yet been published elsewhere, original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
  2. Abstract written in English and Bahasa Indonesia, maximum length each 200 words.
    Keywords contain three to five words/phrases separated by semicolon and arranged by alphabetic
  3. All submitted articles are subject to review of the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers.
  4. Articles can be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia between approximately 6.000 - 8.000 words including tables, figures, and references.
  5. Quotations, passages, and words in local language should be translated into English or Bahasa Indonesia.
  6. All notes must appear as citations in the parenthetical/in-text citations NOT in the footnote. A citation and bibliographical style using Referencing Manager with American Political Science Association (APSA) Style.
  7. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or length will be rejected without review.
  8. Papers must be written based on the template and author guidelines.
