Open Access Statement

All articles published in Mukaddimah: Jurnal Studi Islam are fully open access. The publication of an article in open accessed Mukaddimah: Jurnal Studi Islam has become an important way to make research findings freely available for anyone to access, read, download, share, and view. Articles are published under license Mukaddimah: Jurnal Studi Islam uses license CC-BY-SA as the optimal license which permits remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially in any medium.

In accordance with major definitions of open access in various literature (namely the Budapest, Berlin, and Bethesda declarations), Mukaddimah: Jurnal Studi Islam defines open access with the following conditions:

• Authors and copyright holders grant permission freely and without limitation to all users to read, copy, download, use, and create derivative works responsibly in accordance with the Copyright Notice without subscription or price barriers.
• A complete version of the work and all supplemental materials, including a copy of the permission as stated above, in a suitable standard electronic format is deposited immediately upon initial publication in at least one online repository that is supported by an academic institution, or other well-established organization that seeks to enable open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving eg. LOCKSS, CLOCKSS or PubMed.
