Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter di Madrasah/Sekolah

Implementasi pendidikan karakter di madrasah atau sekolah "include" dengan
mata pelajaran lain perlu diimplementasikan dengan materi-materi pembelajaran
yang relevan, baik evaluasi atupun metode pendekatan pembelajarannya. Selain
pendidikan formal, pendidikan karakter dibangun secara terus menerus sepanjang
hayat masih ada (long live education). Sebab, karakter sesungguhnya menjadi
bagian dari ruh kehidupan itu sendiri. Jadi, hidup tanpa karakter bagaikan hidup
tanpa ruh. Implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah selama ini baru terbatas
pada tingkatan pengenalan norma atau nilai-nilai, belum sampai pada tingkatan
internalisasi dan tindakan nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pendidikan karakter
dibangun oleh tiga pihak secara sinergis, yaitu pertama, orang tua, kedua satuan
lembaga pendidikan dan ketiga, masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan hendaknya komprehenshif.
