  • Call for Papers: Vol. 8 No. 1 (2026)

    Kalijaga Journal of Communication invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit their manuscripts for publication in Vol. 8 No. 1, scheduled for release in June 2026. For this issue, we welcome a wide range of scholarly contributions examining media and communication. Priority will be given to manuscripts addressing key contemporary issues such as environment, technology, and empowerment. Submissions involving collaboration with international authors are highly encouraged and will receive special consideration.

    Each published article will be awarded an honorarium of IDR 1,500,000 (subject to applicable taxes).

    Please note that while submissions from authors affiliated with UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta are welcome, they are not eligible to receive the honorarium.

    The submission deadline is May 31, 2026. We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions.

  • Achieves Sinta 3 Accreditation

  • Our Printed Journal Becomes a Collection in the United States Library of Congress

    Kalijaga Journal of Communication is now in the Library of Congress (LoC) of the United States Embassy Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan 2-5 Jakarta. Hosted by the LoC Acquisition Library, Tonny, S.IIP, the Kalijaga Journal of Communication will be kept as a collection at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. United States side by side with various other publications, both from government agencies and private and commercial publishers, that are public and open. This journal collection grant was made to enrich the treasury of information about Indonesia and Southeast Asia and open up opportunities for study, research, or collaboration in the future.
