Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis (EkBis) is committed to the principles of open access, aiming to promote the widest possible dissemination of scholarly knowledge. This policy outlines EkBis's approach to open access publishing and its commitment to providing free and unrestricted access to its published articles.

Open Access Model

EKBIS follows the gold open access model, where all articles published in the journal are freely accessible to readers without any subscription or payment barriers. Authors who submit their work to EkBis: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis retain the copyright of their articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license. This license allows readers to:

Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose.
Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

Author Responsibilities

Authors submitting manuscripts toJurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis (EkBis) agree to publish their work under the CC-BY-SA license. 

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

EkBis: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis is committed to keeping open-access publishing affordable and sustainable. EkBis: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis does not charge authors for submitting their manuscripts or publishing articles. FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga provides with technical and financial support, hence zero APCs. Based on that, EkBis is dedicated to providing free services for authors from low-income countries or those facing financial constraints, ensuring inclusivity and equitable access to open knowledge.

Archiving and Indexing

All articles published inJurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis (EkBis) are preserved in reputable archiving services, such as the PKP PN Archiving Service and LOCKSS to ensure long-term accessibility and sustainability. Additionally, EKBIS takes proactive measures to ensure its content is widely indexed by major databases, repositories, and search engines, increasing its discoverability and impact.
