Indonesian Journal of Action Research is an open-access journal, published in both online and print versions. The primary source of income comes from institutional support provided by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This support is used to cover administrative operations and printing costs. A minor portion of revenue is also generated from subscriptions, although it remains relatively insignificant.
