This issue offers an insightful collection of studies on applying hadith methodology to modern societal and scientific dynamics. It highlights the use of hadith verification methods as a critical framework against post-truth and hoax phenomena on social media, alongside local living hadith receptions such as moral solidarity in orphan almsgiving practices. The articles cover interdisciplinary inquiries—including scientific perspectives on light exposure and sleep quality—as well as critical discussions on the finality and formalization of hadith science and the algorithmic authority shaping youth piety in Indonesia. Together, these contributions highlight the dynamic relevance of prophetic traditions in confronting contemporary digital and scientific discourses.
