Open Access Model

J-MES follows the gold open access model, where all articles published in the journal are freely accessible to readers without any subscription or payment barriers. Authors who submit their work to J-MES: Jurnal Magister Ekonomi Syariah retain the copyright of their articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license. This license allows readers to:

Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose.
Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

Author Responsibilities

Authors submitting manuscripts to Jurnal J-MES: Jurnal Magister Ekonomi Syariah agree to publish their work under the CC-BY-SA license. 

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

J-MES: Jurnal Magister Ekonomi Syariah is committed to keeping open-access publishing affordable and sustainable. J-MES: Jurnal Magister Ekonomi Syariah does not charge authors for submitting their manuscripts or publishing articles. FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga provides with technical and financial support, hence zero APCs. Based on that, EkBis is dedicated to providing free services for authors from low-income countries or those facing financial constraints, ensuring inclusivity and equitable access to open knowledge.

Archiving and Indexing

All articles published in J-MES: Jurnal Magister Ekonomi Syariah are preserved in reputable archiving services, such as the PKP PN Archiving Service and LOCKSS to ensure long-term accessibility and sustainability. Additionally, J-MES takes proactive measures to ensure its content is widely indexed by major databases, repositories, and search engines, increasing its discoverability and impact.
