SKIJIIM was developed as an academic journal platform for integrative Islamic medicine and health science scholarship at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.

The journal uses Open Journal Systems to manage submission, editorial screening, peer review, publication preparation, and online dissemination.
