Profetik: Jurnal Komunikasi is a journal with new treasures in communication science that refers to prophetic communication in an Islamic perspective that is integrated and interconnected with studies of general communication science that have developed previously such on topics as mass communication, media and religion, prophetic communication, journalism studies, new communication technologies, media literacy, advertising and public relations, political communication, and so on.
Profetik: Jurnal Komunikasi began publishing articles in 2008 in print twice a year, in April and October. Then in 2010 got the ISSN number 1979-2522 and e-ISSN in 2017 with the number 2549-0168. The journal has been accredited with a level of “Sinta 2” based on The Director General of Research and Development of the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education for 2019-2024 (SK Kemenristekdikti No. 10/ E/KPT/2019). Profetik: Jurnal Komunikasi has been indexed on; DOAJ, EBSCO, Google Schoolar, Moraref, Copernicus, Garuda, Dimensions, Finder, Lens.Org, Indonesia One Search, ISJD, Harvard Library, etc.
