Artificial Intelligence Ethics
Regarding the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various research and publication needs, JISKa strictly prohibits authors from utilizing AI tools for the writing process of articles in research and publication, except for minor purposes such as translation, proofreading, and the creation of images and tables. The same policy applies to reviewers, who are prohibited from using AI in the review process due to the potential for errors in AI-generated assessments. Furthermore, research findings published by authors constitute new knowledge that has not been previously studied by AI models such as GPT. Therefore, manual review by expert reviewers remains necessary to ensure the validity of the knowledge before it can be recognized as scientifically sound.
