Knowledge Sharing untuk Meningkatkan Tingkat Kompetisi Usaha Kecil Menengah (UMKM)

UMKM mengalami kendala dalam menjaga dan mengembangkan knowledge yang mereka miliki. Konsep knowledge sharing sebagai bagian dari aktivitas knowledge management dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan ini dan kemudian UMKM dapat mencapai efisiensi, strategi inovasi dan meningkatkan produktivitas. Penulis menggunakan studi literatur dalam menggagas knowledge management untuk UMKM. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa UMKM dapat menerapkan knowledge sharing baik secara informal berupa komunikasi yang sangat dekat di antara karyawan dan pimpinan serta konsultan eksternal. Selain itu juga dapat dirancang sistem berbasis komputer sebagai sarana knowledge sharing yang memungkinkan terjadinya transfer knowledge dari tacit knowledge ke explicit knowledge atau sebaliknya bahkan juga proses transfer knowledge dari di antara tacit knowledge.
