As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
Author Guidelines
Az-Zarqa': Jurnal Hukum Bisnis Islam, only accepts papers written in Indonesian and English. Guidelines for the submission process as journal requirements can be seen as follows:

The submitted paper must not have been previously published or under consideration in another journal
Papers must be submitted in Microsoft word format (doc.)
References or bibliography must follow the Chicago Manual Style (full notes) and use a reference manager such as Zotero, Mendeley, and others.
Home Style of Az-Zarqa': Jurnal Hukum Bisnis Islam
Manuscripts are authentic research results that have never been published in other publications or publishers. The text does not contain plagiarism (maximum tolerance 25%). The editorial board will reject any text that exceeds the maximum plagiarism tolerance limit. Manuscripts that have been written according to the guidelines of the Codification: Journal of Islamic Research, (in MS Word format, according to the article template) must be submitted through the Online Submission System using the Open Journal System (OJS). Manuscripts that do not match the Az-Zarqa': Jurnal Hukum Bisnis Islam template will be returned to the author before the review process. Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English in the academic standard language. Manuscripts should consist of 5000 to 8000 words including pictures and tables. Manuscript using 12 point font - Garamond. Tables and figures are placed in the text group after the referenced table or figure. Each image must be labeled (Image Information) below the image. Each table must be given a table title (Table Description) and numbered in Arabic numbering format above the table followed by the table title. Images must be guaranteed to print properly (font size, resolution, and line spacing are clearly visible). All citations in the article use footnote references.
General Format of Manuscript Title, Author, Abstract, Introduction, Discussion, Conclusion, and Reference
Page Title. Title must not exceed 14 words in 14 points Garamond - Bold. Alignment is center.
Author(s). The author's name may not be followed by any academic degree. It should be written in 10 points Garamond. Notice to Authors of Joint Works (articles with more than one author). Please identify the Correspondence Author for your work when submitting your manuscript for review. All authors must attach their institution and email address.
Abstract and keywords. Abstract written in two languages (English and Indonesian). An abstract describing the essence of the manuscript should be 150-250 words long. Contains the title, objectives, methods, and findings. Authors must select keywords from the menu on the manuscript submission system so that readers can search for articles after they are published. Keywords should consist of 3-5 words or phrases. It must be typed in 10 points Garamond.
Introduction. Includes research background, research context, research problems, literature review and research objectives. It is also equipped with an explanation of the research approach, types of research, data collection techniques, and data analysis.
Discussion. It refers to the total result; results of data analysis. The results should be discussed for each. The discussion interprets and illustrates the importance of the findings in light of what is already known about the research problem being investigated. It also sheds light on any new understanding or insight that has emerged from theory and/or other research.
Conclusion. It summarizes the main points of the evidence or findings of the research problem. It also provides overall article coverage and closing comments.
Reference. References must be cited both in the text and in the reference list and must be in accordance with the 17th Edition of the Chicago Manual of Style (full notes). It must be listed in alphabetical order. Please ensure that all information in your manuscript taken from other sources is supported by in-text references. A minimum of 80% of sources published in the last 5 years is required for each submission. The articles in Az-Zarqa': Jurnal Hukum Bisnis Islam are recommended for reference. Please also note that your references must follow the style of the Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition (the Editors will return your submission for correction if you do not format your references correctly). Authors can use Zotero, Mendeley, Endnote, etc. as Reference Management.
