Revenue Sources

Jurnal Studi Ilmu-ilmu al-Qur’an dan Hadis is supported through a combination of institutional funding and Article Processing Charges.

Institutional support is provided by the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Article Processing Charges are paid by authors, their institutions, research funders, or other authorised funding bodies only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

These sources support the journal’s editorial administration, peer-review management, manuscript production, language and copy editing, DOI and metadata registration, website operation, digital preservation, and open-access publication.

The journal does not currently receive revenue from commercial advertising. It does not accept payments in exchange for manuscript acceptance, favourable peer-review reports, accelerated editorial decisions, citations, editorial board membership, or preferential treatment during publication.

Institutional funding, Article Processing Charges, and other financial considerations are kept separate from editorial decision-making. Persons responsible for financial administration may not intervene in reviewer selection, peer-review reports, editorial recommendations, acceptance decisions, corrections, retractions, or other matters involving the academic integrity of the journal.

All editorial decisions are based on academic merit, originality, methodological or analytical soundness, relevance to the journal’s Focus and Scope, compliance with publication ethics, and the outcome of peer review.

Any material change to the journal’s revenue sources or publishing model will be disclosed publicly on this page.
