About the Journal

Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies,

This international academic journal, with both print (ISSN 1411-6855) and online (ISSN 2548-4737) editions, serves as a platform for scholarly discussions in Qur'an and Hadith studies, following a rigorous peer-review process. It focuses on textual and contextual approaches, welcoming high-quality manuscripts in English and Arabic. The journal encourages diverse contributions from various academic traditions and viewpoints, both classical and contemporary. The journal aims to facilitate global idea exchange, including scholars from the East and West, promoting interdisciplinary research. The journal explores a wide range of topics including Exegesis Studies, Qur'anic Manuscripts, the Qur'an and Social Culture, as well as the perspectives of scholars on Qur'anic studies. Furthermore, it features studies related to Hadith, the Hadith Manuscripts, Hadith and Social Culture, and the perspectives of scholars on Hadith studies. (see Focus and Scope).

JURNAL STUDI ILMU ILMU AL-QUR’AN DAN HADIS is administered by Faculty of Usuluddin and Islamic Thought, UIN Sunan Kalijaga in collaboration with Asosiasi Ilmu al-Qur'an dan Tafsir (AIAT) Indonesia (Indonesian Qur'anic Studies Association) and Asosiasi Ilmu Hadis (ASILHA) Indonesia (Indonesian Hadith Studies Association).

JURNAL STUDI ILMU-ILMU AL-QUR’AN DAN HADIS published twice a year (January and July) and it also a member of Crossref, so each article has its unique DOI number.
