Jurnal Dakwah: Media Komunikasi dan Dakwah is a peer-reviewed academic journal that focuses on the interdisciplinary study of da'wah, both from normative and historical perspectives. The journal seeks to provide a platform for the dissemination of research and scholarly work that explores the practice and theory of da'wah within various cultural, social, political contexts and across the globe.
The journal encourages comprehensive and multidisciplinary approaches to the study of da'wah, welcoming contributions that address a wide range of themes, including but not limited to:
Textual Studies: Examination of classical and contemporary texts relevant to da'wah, including Qur'anic exegesis, Hadith studies, and Islamic jurisprudence as they relate to the practice of da'wah.
Historical Perspectives: Analysis of the historical development of da'wah, exploring its evolution across different periods and regions, and how historical contexts have influenced its methods and objectives.
Fieldwork and Ethnographic Studies: Empirical research on the practice of da'wah in various communities, focusing on the interaction between da'wah agents and their audiences, and the impact of da'wah activities on social change.
Normative Approaches: Theoretical discussions on the principles and ethics of da'wah, exploring its theological foundations and its role in shaping Islamic identity.
Cross-Disciplinary Studies: Research that intersects da'wah with other fields such as social work, communication studies, sociology, anthropology, and political science, offering new insights into the role of da'wah in contemporary society.

Jurnal Dakwah: Media Komunikasi dan Dakwah is published biannually in June and December, and is available in both print and electronic formats.
