Secara teori setiap ajaran agama mengajarkan kepada umatnya untuk hidup rukun damai saling toleransi dan menghargai kepada perbedaan pendapat dan paham dan tidak mengajarkan pada umatnya melakukan perbuatan kekerasan atau anarkis terhadap umat lainnya atau golongan lain. Tapi secara praktek di lapangan masih sering terjadi penyerangan saling mencela antara satu paham dengan paham yang lainnya bahkan terhadap agama yang berbeda.Dalam artikel ini penulis ingin menyampaikan tentang missi Islam yaitu suatu agama yang Rahmatan Lil‘alamiin, disini agama mengajarkan kepada umatnya untuk hidup saling mencintai antar sesama, menegakkan perdamaian dan saling toleransi antar sesama manusia tanpa membedakan agama dan paham, akan tetapi realitas di lapangan masih muncul sifat dan sikap saling mencela, dan kekerasan yang mengatasnamakan agama Islam.
