Anak-anak SD/MI pada masa-masa awal kebanyakan mengalami keterkejutan mental dan intelektual. Sebab, ketika mereka duduk di bangku TK, mereka belajar dengan bermain, bernyanyi, dan bercerita. Tetapi, ketika mereka masuk SD, harus meninggalkan pola pembelajaran di TK/RA dan diganti dengan pembelajaran berbasis logika. Atas dasar ini, diperlukan konsep pembelajaran yang dapat menghubungkan antara TK/RA ke SD/MI sehingga keterkejutan mental dan intelektual anak didik dapat diantisipasi. Dalam hal ini, konsep pembelajaran berbasis edutainment yakni pembelajaran yang memasukkan nuansa-nuansa entertaint, tetapi tidak mengurangi nilai-nilai edukatif yang diajarkan bisa digunakan.
