Prinsip NCTM ketiga dari matematika sekolah adalah pembelajaran. Apakah metode yang digunakan telah didasarkan pada bagaimana anak-anak belajar? Dari ini, penulis mencoba menjelaskan teori belajar mengajar dan mencoba untuk menerapkannya pada proses belajar mengajar matematika pada tingkat pendidikan dasar. Dalam artikel ini ditampilkan beberapa contoh tentang bahan manipulatif dan strategi belajar dengan permainan.
