Contemporary Quran maintains a clear policy regarding advertising to ensure that all commercial or promotional activities do not compromise the integrity, credibility, and academic standards of the journal.
This policy is developed in accordance with ethical publishing standards and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and international academic publishing frameworks.
Advertising in Contemporary Quran must adhere to the following principles:
- Advertising must be clearly distinguishable from editorial content
- Advertising must not influence editorial decisions
- All advertising must be accurate, legal, and ethical
- Advertising must be relevant to the journal’s academic scope
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising considerations. The presence of advertisements does not imply endorsement of any advertised products, services, or organizations by the journal, editors, or publisher.
The journal reserves the right to accept or reject any advertisement at its sole discretion. Advertisements may be considered if they are relevant to academic, educational, or scholarly activities, including:
- Academic publications (books, journals)
- Conferences, seminars, and academic events
- Educational programs and research opportunities
The journal does not accept advertisements that:
- Are misleading, deceptive, or false
- Promote unethical, illegal, or harmful activities
- Conflict with academic integrity or scholarly values
- Contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
All advertising content must be clearly identified and separated from editorial content. The journal ensures transparency in all advertising practices and does not allow sponsored content to influence scholarly communication.
Any violation of this policy will result in the rejection or removal of advertisements. The journal reserves the right to take appropriate action to maintain its academic integrity and ethical standards.
