Retraction and Correction

    Policy Statement

The Jurnal Living Hadis acknowledges the hard work of its contributors and honors this commitment through a thorough peer-review process. Nevertheless, to maintain the integrity of academic literature, published works may be corrected or retracted due to scientific errors, ethical concerns, or legal issues. This policy establishes clarity, responsibility, and uniformity in managing post-publication amendments while protecting the journal's digital archives.

    Retraction

Jurnal Living Hadis will retract a published paper if its validity or ethical compliance is critically undermined, including instances of:

  • Falsified, fabricated, or fatally flawed research data.
  • Unauthorized duplicate or overlapping publication.
  • Ethical misconduct, such as plagiarism or false authorship claims.

Following COPE Guidelines, a retraction notice will be published online and linked to the original article.

    Article Correction

Issued when an article remains reliable but contains errors:

  • Publisher Correction (Erratum): Production/publication process errors.
  • Author Correction (Corrigendum): Significant author-made errors affecting interpretation.
  • Addendum: Additional information complementing the original article.

    Article Removal

Reserved for exceptional cases involving defamation, infringement of legal rights, or serious public health risks. Metadata will remain with an explanatory notice.

    Article Replacement

In cases where published content presents a major risk if relied upon, the journal may retract the paper and issue a corrected replacement, accompanied by a full and transparent publication history.
