Below are answers to frequently asked questions regarding our submission, editorial, and publication processes.

1. Where can I find information about JSR's publication policies and Article Processing Charges (APC)/Author Fee?

All information regarding submission requirements, publication policies, Author Fees or Article Processing Charges (APC), and other author-related matters is available in the Author Information Pack menu on the JSR official website.

2. Does JSR allocate publication slots or quotas for each issue?

No. JSR does not operate a publication slot or quota reservation system. Manuscripts are evaluated based on their academic quality, relevance to the journal's scope, peer review outcomes, and editorial decisions rather than reserved publication slots.

3. Can JSR guarantee that my manuscript will be accepted for publication?

No. Publication acceptance cannot be guaranteed or predicted in advance. Each submission undergoes editorial assessment and peer review, followed by revisions where necessary. The final decision is made by the editorial board based on reviewers' recommendations, the quality of revisions, and the manuscript's overall scholarly merit.

4. When will JSR issue a Letter of Acceptance (LoA)?

A Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is issued only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication following the editorial board's final decision. JSR does not issue an LoA for manuscripts that are still undergoing review, revision, or editorial evaluation.

5. How long does it take from manuscript acceptance to publication?

JSR cannot guarantee a fixed period between manuscript acceptance (Accepted Submission) and the official publication date.

The publication timeline depends on several stages, including copyediting, author-editor proofreading, and production. Each manuscript may require a different amount of time depending on the complexity of the editorial work, the responsiveness of the authors, and the completion of production requirements.

6. Does JSR offer a fast-track review or expedited publication service?

No. JSR does not provide fast-track review or expedited publication services. All submissions follow the journal's standard editorial and peer review procedures in accordance with its established publication policies.

No manuscript receives preferential treatment or guaranteed accelerated processing.

7. How can I determine whether my manuscript is suitable for JSR?

Before submitting, authors are strongly encouraged to review JSR's Aim and Scope to ensure that their research aligns with the journal's scholarly focus and disciplinary orientation.

Manuscripts that fall outside the journal's scope may be declined during the preliminary editorial screening, without proceeding to external peer review.

Please consult the JSR Aim and Scope before submission.

We hope these FAQs clarify JSR's editorial procedures and publication policies. Authors are encouraged to consult the information available on the journal's official website before contacting the editorial office.
