Jurnal Pendidikan Islam (Journal of Islamic Education) – JPI, p-ISSN: 2301-9166; e-ISSN: 2356-3877 is an international journal published by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, posted twice a year on June and December. The journal focuses its scope on the issues of Islamic Education in Southeast Asia. We invite scientists, scholars, researchers, as well as professionals in the field of Islamic Education in Southeast Asia to publish their researches in our Journal. In 2015, Journal of Islamic Education (JPI) is accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education with Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi Republik Indonesia No. I/E/KPT/2015, dated 21 September 2015.

In 2019, The aims and scope of the journal changed into "Islamic Education In Southeast Asia"

Starting from Volume 11 Number 1 June 2022, Jurnal Pendidikan Islam makes a change manuscript template in order to fulfill COPE standard manuscript and ensure high-quality manuscripts.
